Edelbrock AVS2 Series Carburetor

Edelbrock: AVS2 Series Carburetor

Operating with the benefits of a Thunder Series AVS carburetor for the price of a Performer Series carb, the new AVS2 carburetor from Edelbrock features newly calibrated annular flow primary boosters for improved off-idle and cruising performance.

Edelbrock’s design delivers improved fuel atomization to eliminate flat spots that can occur when a carb transitions from idle to full throttle. Each annular booster’s eight, equally spaced orifices improves fuel metering from idle to the main circuit.

Available in 650 CFM with manual or electric choke, and boasting both timed and full vacuum ports for ignition advance, the AVS2 carb is ideal for use with a variety of small- and big-block engines with either dual- or single-plane intake manifolds.

Features

  • Thunder Series benefits at a Performer Series price.
  • Annular flow boosters smooth transitions from idle to full throttle.
  • 650 CFM with available manual or electric choke.
  • Timed and full vacuum ports for ignition advance.
  • Suitable for SB and BB engines with single- or dual-plane manifold.

Quick Fuel Technology (30-200QFT): 160 GPH In-Line Billet Fuel Pump

If your build has a nitrous or forced-induction power plant that also does street duty, or if you simply need to fuel some serious horsepower, the Quick Fuel Technology 160 GPH in-line billet fuel pump is the answer. Its twin-pump configuration lets you use one for cruising or both when you’re ready to flip the nitrous switch or start building boost. In addition, staging the second pump bypasses the need to recirculate and heat extra fuel—which can reduce performance and cause hot fuel issues.

For hard-core race vehicles, both pumps can be wired for full-time duty to get maximum performance and are proven with 18.5-volt compatibility at pressures up to 80 PSI. The 30-200QFT was engineered to greatly reduce the negative effects of heated fuel now common with many of today’s pump gas blends. And at just over 5 pounds, this pump weighs half a pound less than competitive 1,000+ HP pumps yet boasts twice the features!

Note: This product is available for use with pump or race gas. Compatible with carbureted or EFI applications. Not designed for use on aircraft of any type.

Features

  • Patent-pending dual pump design for independent or simultaneous use.
  • Durable and good-looking billet aluminum construction.
  • Improved hot fuel handling.
  • Proven durability beyond 3,000 hours in gasoline.
  • 10 AN O-ring inlet/outlet for high flow and superior sealing.
  • Fully in-tank submersible for custom applications (less space and plumbing).
  • Compatible with 12–18.5-volt systems for street or race use.
  • Compact size (7.66” x 5” x 2.5”) for easy installation on frame rails or other tight areas.
  • Weight: 5.1 lb.
  • Max current draw: 28 amps
