Edelbrock: New-Look Black-Coated Flathead Components for Ford

Edelbrock’s iconic “Slingshot” intake manifolds—dual, triple, and even single-quad—are now available with a black-coated finish to match early- or late-model Edelbrock cylinder heads. The Edelbrock script and block letter logo are highlighted for that extra detail. All Edelbrock flathead components are cast and machined in America for the best quality—just like Vic Edelbrock Sr. did in the 1930s.

In addition, don’t miss the many related components that Edelbrock offers for the Ford flathead market, including 94 carburetors (primary and secondary), 94 carburetor heat insulators and chrome air cleaners, carburetor linkage kits (dual and triple deuce), fuel distribution blocks (dual, triple, and quad), low fuel pressure regulators, generator brackets (straight and offset, early and late model), cylinder head stud kits (early and late model), and individual and complete head gasket sets.

Features

  • New black powder-coated finish.
  • Highlighted Edelbrock script and block letter logo.
  • Cast and machined in the USA.

Edelbrock: NHRA-Legal Cylinder Heads

Edelbrock cylinder heads are chock full of features not included in competing products, such as threaded inserts in rocker stud and exhaust bolt holes and manganese-bronze valve guides with ductile iron seats. And now they’ve been accepted for Stock and Super Stock use, noted by the NHRA oval logo engraved on both sides of the cylinder head (qualification varies by part number).

Made in the USA, Edelbrock cylinder heads offer improved performance throughout the RPM range for tremendous throttle response and top-end horsepower.

Edelbrock: Max-Fire Ignition Wires

Available in two levels of performance—Ultra-Spark 50 (50 ohms resistance/foot) and Ultra-Spark 500 (500 ohms resistance/foot)—the all-new universal high-performance Max-Fire ignition wires from Edelbrock feature the same high quality as the company’s model-specific sets, but give users the ability to tailor them to fit their V8 applications.

These wires have extremely high EMI/RFI suppression along with a very low resistance to help deliver the most spark possible. Their heavy-duty 8.5 mm diameter silicone jackets protect the Kevlar spiral-wound cores from heat, moisture, and chemicals. Preinstalled spark plug boots are available in straight or 90° versions. The straight-boot sets are “vari-angle,” meaning they can be bent and hold their position in tight areas to clear headers. They also include early-OEM socket style and late-style HEI plug distributor terminals.

Each Edelbrock Max-Fire kit includes eight spark plug wires (of varying lengths), eleven points-style terminals, eleven HEI plug–style terminals, nine straight distributor boots, nine 90° distributor boots, one distributor-to-coil wire, dielectric grease, and installation instructions. Installation requires the use of a wire-crimping tool.

Features

  • Available in 50 ohm and 500 ohm resistance/foot.
  • Heavy-duty 8.5 mm diameter silicone jackets.
  • Kevlar spiral-wound core.
  • Spark plug boots available in straight or 90°.
  • Early OEM socket style and late-style HEI plug distributor terminals included.

Edelbrock (7180): Victor II Manifold for Ford 5.0L Coyote

Edelbrock’s all-new intake manifold for the 2011–2015 Ford Coyote 5.0L V8 combines long-tapered, crossover-style runners with a large plenum for outstanding performance. Its cast-aluminum construction makes it perfect for nitrous, supercharged, and turbo applications.

Reusing the stock fuel rail, Edelbrock 7180 also includes provisions for all emissions equipment and features nitrous bosses, which allow for the addition of a direct port system for competitive applications.

The slightly lower design lets the Victor II fit all 2011–2015 Mustang stock hoods and strut tower braces. Engine dyno testing resulted in 27 more ft.-lb. of torque over a common aftermarket plastic upgrade intake manifold and an additional 16 hp over a stock manifold.

A black powdercoat imparts abrasion resistance and looks great in the engine bay.

Features

  • For ’11–’15 Ford Coyote 5.0L V8 engines.
  • Cast-aluminum construction.
  • Protective black powder-coated finish.
