If you’ve ever wished you could control all your trailer brake settings with an easy-to-use button from inside your cab, your wait is over. With its LED-illuminated rotary knob interface and separate main module with accelerometer, the Spectrum trailer brake controller from CURT gives you powerful, precise braking operation in a simple and subtle OE-inspired design. You can mount the Spectrum’s main module behind the dash of your vehicle—completely out of sight—while the compact, unobtrusive interface can be fully integrated into your dash with just a single hole.
The single rotary knob features a push-button that allows you to adjust brake power output, while its 10 tri-color LEDs (red, blue & green) show real-time power output. The design eliminates the need for a separate display or additional controls, keeping the dash of your vehicle clean, professional, and uncluttered.
CURT equipped the powerful main module with a triple-axis motion-sensing accelerometer that can detect the inertia of the vehicle and trailer on all axes of three-dimensional space. Whatever the speed or grade, the Spectrum produces the exact amount of power needed for a smooth, safe stop every time.
The 51170 can operate up to eight trailer brakes at a time, on vehicles with ABS brakes and cruise control, and it works with low-voltage and PWM systems. It installs in 10 minutes or less via the quick, vehicle-specific plug harness. CURT included automatic leveling and calibration features to further simplify the setup process.
Features
Rigorously tested at CURT’s Detroit engineering facility, this forged-steel industrial ball mount with powerful I-beam shank boasts ratings of 21,000 lb. gross trailer weight and 2,800 lb. tongue weight, making it the ideal complement to 3” x 3” trailer hitches.
CURT built the 45430 mount to outlast the elements, giving it a durable carbide black powdercoat to resist rust, scratches, and chipping. This particular ball mount also comes with a 1-1/4” trailer ball hole and a 2” rise and 4” drop to accommodate larger pickup trucks and facilitate a more level ride.
Features
With its potted construction, which seals the internal electrical components in a watertight enclosure filled with a solid compound that protects against impacts, vibration, and moisture, this powered taillight converter from CURT offers ultimate resistance against rain, road grime, and salt—which can wreak havoc on your trailer wiring.
The heavy-duty 59496 powered taillight converter is compatible with a wide array of applications, and it comes with color-coded wires, an easy-to-read guide, a dust cover to protect the 4-way flat connector, snap locks for quick splicing of the pigtail wires, and a 55151 wiring kit to complete your installation.
Features
Two new tray-style bike racks from CURT add the security of ratcheting vertical arms, which keep bikes locked down during travel over sharp curves and bumps in the road. The mechanisms are also key operated, deterring tampering while unattended.
CURT has launched two part numbers for this model: 18085 for two bikes and 18087 for four bikes. Additionally, the supplemental 18091 cradles accommodate wider tires. As with other entries in CURT’s hitch-mounted bike rack lineup, these products feature an ergonomic design for easy loading/unloading and padded arms to prevent bike-frame damage.
Features
The 16026 5th wheel legs from CURT make towing your RV, travel trailer, or other full-size 5th wheel trailer a dream. Specifically designed for the Nissan Titan XD with OEM puck system, these 5th wheel legs feature a three-point anchoring system that quickly and securely drops into the truck bed. They require no measuring, cutting, drilling, or vehicle-specific brackets for installation (the truck bed puck system is required for installation).
The legs feature standard, easy-access mounting holes to accommodate any CURT 5th wheel, and they boast a gross trailer weight capacity of 20,000 lb. To make towing as smooth and quiet as possible, these Nissan Titan XD legs also come with castle nuts that can be tightened or loosened as needed to eliminate any space between the pucks and the anchors.
For durability, this product is protected by a co-cured finish: a rust-resistant liquid Bonderite coating beneath a carbide black powdercoat. Together, the two create a superior shield against the elements as well as provide a barrier against rust, chipping, and UV damage. A limited lifetime warranty rounds out the protection.
Note: Requires Nissan Titan XD puck system for installation (long beds only). Compatible with CURT 5th wheel hitch heads up to 20,000 lb. Also available for Ford, GM, and Ram.
