When the candy apple red Camaro pulled into our parking lot last week, we knew Painless Performance had arrived. Company President Adrian Murray and National Sales Manager Derek Love came into town to talk shop, marketing, and the promotion of their exciting new Trail Rocker product line.

This year Painless celebrated its 25th anniversary in the aftermarket industry. The company boasts the number-one-selling chassis harness in addition to a variety of fuel injection management systems and other electrical components. The MSD 2900 is the complete kit for anyone planning to convert from a carburetor to Atomic EFI. You get the Throttle Body, Power Module (with Wide Band O2 sensor), Handheld Controller, and the Standard Fuel Kit for up to 525hp naturally aspirated (at the crank). The Atomic TBI is compatible with Boost/Nitrous!

  • Timing Control (Retard per pound of boost)*

MSD is breaking new ground in electronic fuel injection with the next generation of Atomic EFI—the all-new Atomic LS system. Where the Atomic TBI consolidated electronics and sensors into the throttle body itself, the LS platform incorporates the electronics into the fuel rails of the system! There’s no bulky ECU to mount and, therefore, no wires to route to and from; it’s all on the engine, hidden in plain sight.

There’s no need for a PC, complicated software, or prior tuning experience. Simply bolt it on, plug it in, answer a few car-guy questions using the supplied handheld controller, and start the engine. The Atomic LS will begin learning and tuning your LS engine as soon as you fire it up. Advanced adjustments can be made to air/fuel targets, pump squirt, ignition timing. and much more.
