Hypertech’s award-winning Power Tuning adds maximum horsepower, torque, and performance for any kind of driving for vehicles using regular, premium, E85, or diesel fuel. Hypertech’s Power Tuning also allows the highest power level for towing while maintaining safe EGTs.
The speedometer calibrator allows you to re-program for correct speedometer readings and correct part-throttle shifting when you’ve installed tires that are not the same size as OEM tires, or if you’ve installed a ring and pinion set with a different rear gear ratio. You can raise or lower the top speed to match non-OEM tires and adjust the TPMS warning threshold for tire pressure.
The Max Energy has other control options that give more customization. You can adjust shift firmness, shift response, throttle response and restriction, and TTC transmission algorithms. You can also remove ECM ability to force a 1-4 skip shift, extend the engines RPM range, raise/lower shift points in 100 RPM increments, and adjust the engine’s idle RPM. It can retune engine calibration for popular cold air intakes to correct the MAF reading and can read/clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). Plus, you can adjust the “on/off” temperatures of the electric cooling fans. This Programmer also has modes and controls for fuel management systems V4/V8 for both the Multi-Displacement System (MDS) and the Active Fuel Management System (AFM).
