In Jacksonville, FL, in 1935, Asa Phillips started a company called Auto Ventshade . This new company was built around the Ventshade , an innovative device which mounted above car windows letting fresh air in while keeping out rain and wind with the window open. The Ventshade was originally offered in metal only. Because it became such a popular automotive accessory, this led Mr. Phillips" son, Asa Phillips Jr., to develop the Ventvisor side window deflector in plastic. In 1998, Lund International acquired AVS. The brand name has since become synonymous with Ventvisor side window deflectors, hood protectors, and more innovative products to help you enjoy and protect your vehicle.Videos
