Presented by The AAM Group and Performance Corner®, The Event 2020 online trade show gave virtual attendees in-depth looks at the year’s hottest new products from the industry’s best manufacturers. Those attendees then had the option of voting for their favorite products in each category. Powered by Westin Automotive, Masterpieces of Metal™ invites automotive builders to have their best creations judged by attendees of The Event, a new-product trade show. The top vote-getter will be named the Grand Prize winner and receive a Superwinch winch and a custom Masterpieces of Metal™ trophy. Individual category winners will also each receive a custom trophy. Submit your entries online now through November 15, 2020.  

Any automotive aftermarket reseller, upfitter, restyler, or shop can submit one or more builds to the Masterpieces of Metal™ contest. All entries must be the original work of the entrant and have been built in 2020. Full promotional rules and conditions of entry can be viewed at masterpiecesofmetal.aamevent.com. 

About The Event 

Free to reseller attendees, The Event 2020 is a new online show designed to help local automotive aftermarket businesses quickly and easily discover many of the best new products for 2021. The Event will present new products in category-overview videos as well as deep-dive videos for all spotlighted products. Virtual attendees can snag swag just for watching videos, chat with manufacturers directly about the new products, and contact Competition Specialties, Inc. about purchase.

The Event 2020 Is Coming!

The Event 2020, a new online trade show to help you discover many of the best new automotive aftermarket products for 2021, is almost here.

The Event will present new products by category in short, easy-to-watch videos (e.g., Ten New Steps and Boards for 2021). If you want to learn more about any of the individual products, you can click a link to see a more detailed video. You’ll even be able to directly ask manufacturers questions about new products and tell Competition Specialties, Inc. you’re ready to buy.

As a bonus, by watching category videos, you will unlock exclusive The Event swag!

The Event will run November 30 to December 13. And it’s free to participate. That’s right, FREE: no charge, nothing, nada!

But beyond learning about new products, you’ll personally have a hand in shaping The Event!

  1. We are asking resellers to submit vehicles to our builders’ contest, Masterpieces of Metal™, powered by Westin Automotive. You may submit any vehicle your business built, upfitted, or restyled in 2020. Vehicles will be sorted by category.
  2. You are also our judges for the Masterpieces of Metal™ vehicle contest! Based on your votes, we will name winners and award trophies to builders in each category, as well as an overall Grand Prize winner, who will take home a Superwinch winch of their choice.
  3. As you watch the new-product videos, you can vote for your favorite in each category. Based on your votes, we will name The Event’s Best New Products by category. Then, from those winners, you can help choose the Best Overall New Product of The Event!
